Weight managment is a struggle almost everyone can relate to. This has changed since the advent of semaglutide use for weight loss. Unlike traditional weight loss methods, such as diet and exercise, which require consistent effort and may take several weeks or even months to yield results, semaglutide injections offer a more convenient and potentially faster approach. While semaglutide injections have shown promising results in clinical trials, they are not without potential side effects, and are not suitable for everyone. As with any weight loss program, it is important to consult with a healthcare provider before beginning treatment with semaglutide injections, and to continue to monitor one's health throughout the course of treatment.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Weight loss with semaglutide consists of two stages:
Titration Phase (2 months)
In this phase, you will start at a low weekly dose of the medication to gauge your tolerance, and gradually increase in dose until your maintenance dosage is reached (determined by you and Dr. Corey).
Maintenance Phase (1 month increments)
Once your maintenance dose is reached, you will remain at that dose for one month increments until you reach your desired body weight.
Treatment Type: Once weekly injection
Appointment Duration: 5 min
Treatment Discomfort: 1/10
Downtime: None
Treatment Frequency: Weekly for up to 6 months
